Ship Breaking Yards, Chittagong (March 2007) |
|
The Shipbreaking Yards in Chittagong is one of the most impressives places to visit in Bangloadesh, and probably in the world. Looking at these huge boats parket there while are being dismantled in these conditions is shocking. Hundreds of thousands of people in this area live of this business, but their living and working conditions are really apalling.
After all, while visiting the area, a little harder than in other places of Bangladesh in all sense, most of the people are really friendly even with these life conditions.
